Most days you can find me knee deep in playdough, chicken nuggets and diapers. I have two sweet girls Amelia, my princess, and Olivia, my mama’s girl. My girls are an endless joy and I have the pleasure to spend my every day with them. When I’m not changing dirty diapers, I’m hanging with my husband of 6 years, James. We met in Kindergarten. No joke. He was the bully who knocked over my beautiful block sculpture. In 5th grade, he even asked me out. I politely declined until we reconnected years later through Facebook.
People often think of me as the shy, quiet one. While it is true that I am more of an introvert, if you know me, you know that I can be anything but quiet. Photography pushes me out of my box, it is one of the many things that I love about it!
I am passionate about Christ and lead worship at Kalamazoo South Side Church of the Nazarene as well as with Elaine Pettit Ministries. Some of my other passions include the University of Michigan (especially football), ice tea, reading the latest C.S. Harris novel, and spending time with my nearest and dearest.
It is my aim as a photographer to capture moments in time. Life moves so fast and sometimes we forget to slow down and enjoy the little things. With pictures, it is easy to look back on those times we may otherwise have missed. It is my hope that I can help you catch some of these fleeting moments with your family.
